Reviews

Film and book reviews are my honest assessments after watching or reading. Ratings use a five-star scale:

• 1 star - I didn't enjoy it and wouldn't recommend it.
• 2 stars - OK in a pinch, but forgettable.
• 3 stars - Average. Solid enough but nothing special.
• 4 stars - Exemplary. Stands out in its genre.
• 5 stars - An all-time favourite. I'll revisit it.

I try to be selective about what I consume, so the distribution skews higher. When something misses the mark, I'll say so.

Sources

Reviews are sourced from my own accounts on Letterboxd (films) and Goodreads (books). Data is pulled automatically and may take up to six hours to sync.

Writing

Long-form articles are written entirely by me. Where AI tools have assisted in editing or development of the site itself, the work is reviewed and approved before publishing. The ideas and opinions are always mine.

Corrections

If something is wrong, get in touch. I'll correct genuine errors promptly.

Independence

This site has no advertising, affiliate links, or commercial relationships. It exists purely as a personal creative outlet.
